The New VNET
- The new VNet from VP Structures is an innovation in release netting. It’s dynamic design allows the load of hail to be released preventing catastrophic damage to the net and continuing protection to the crop through the hail event.
- The VNet uses a bungee and clip system to allow release of the hail as the net is loaded. The hail is directed between the rows of trees or crop to prevent damage.
- In the VNet design the netting is not fixed tight, the energy from the falling hail is absorbed by the net and does not penetrate the net causing holes.
- In the unlikely event of damage the system has few and simple components that can be easily replaced.
- The VNet is also modular in design, allowing for isolation of damaged sections and easy replacement.
- Created and designed for Australia's conditions, the VNet offers growers a resilient and easily maintained alternative to flat and pitch netting.
