VP Structures Announces Release of Next Generation Greenhouse

VP Structures has announced the release of its Next Generation 6.4 m span greenhouse, the VPS 6400. It’s predecessor the GCA 6400, was an industry recognized mainstay of climate control greenhouses, being a robust and strong structure that allowed a wide variety of crops to be grown and hung from its structure.

Grower feedback led to significant reengineering of the GCA 6400 to create the new VPS 6400. VP Structures recognized that growers are under increased pressure to ensure safer working practices and increased efficiency. VPS saw the need to respond with a greenhouse design that had a built in safety system to enable safer erection and grower maintenance.

Brett McLaren of VPS said “We had to ensure that the agronomic requirements of the crops, the operational issues of the growers and the imperative to have a more grower friendly maintenance system were all met.”
